Why is it that seeming everything someone does here has to have a snappy com-back by another person? There are enough people out there that attack us already do we really have to snap at each other? :?
Granted some people here ask to be spoken to bluntly (myself included) but there are times that a bit of tact is needed and if there is a question about something, instead of posting your comment where everyone can see it, would it be easier to ask the person in a private message to clarify what was said??? It makes sense to me but every person is different here and every person has the right to say what they want

Actually, I agree with you. Not understanding a post and having someone ask the poster what it means specifically in PM’s is a good idea, it’d save a shit ton of clutter in forum threads where the argument becomes so diluted that people forget the original point and are just arguing semantics (And when I say people, I include myself because I know I’ve done it numerous times, five minutes ago in fact).
I agree with Jayme Ann and Jaks it’d be a whole lot simpler if people sent a PM to the poster if they don’t understand and if they don’t get a response within a day then they could reply to the post
a lot of the time I say stuff that on a second read even I don’t quite understand the message after which I usually get into a fight with sometimes mainly Jaks and i keep trying to get better but sometimes when I’m tired or in a rush it’s really hard
and it’s only because people are allowed to say what they want (within forum rules)
now to Vickie I know you are usually able to step back from most arguments and posts and see them for what they are and I know you can edit and delete posts by other members and your self if an argument starts why don’t you put spoilers on the post so that people don’t have to read it and i know it’s free speech and all you could even delete whole argument and leave your usual “you 2 stop fighting take it to PM” message in the form “X and Y have been fighting I’ve deleted it if they wish to continue they should take it to PM” and i know you don’t want to do this but the option is still their to ban members for a short period of time I know it seems harsh but I’d bet it gets the message across pretty quickly and if you edit it into the rules they can’t say they weren’t warned

and a few days suspension from the site might give the people arguing a break as well as everyone elseand people would then take it to PM

Well if you’re so confused by something I’ve said…why not send me a PM and ask me about it. Then I can explain it to you (and spare the whole forum) and then everyone doesn’t have to see a bunch of crap that always turns into some stupid debate over who is better than who. I think that’s the point the original poster was trying to make.

I am the kind of person that enjoys dramas. Makes the place more interesting to read. Does not mean I like all dramas and like how people are treating each other just like I like horror movies but I do not like people getting killed in them and I don’t like all horror movies. I have seen some pretty lame ones and boring ones.

for the first it works barely i agree that sometimes descusion and arguments are needed but on every little thing is a little weirysome and un needed (much like death in horror flicks) and some are downright pointless and boring
for the latter some times death in horror films works have you seen the chuckie (childs play) series i agree it’s fairly repetitive but i like it anyway and it works where as jaws… snooze fest….
It was my comment. Lot of people don’t like dramas but I do. I had to make myself clear what I meant by that so people wouldn’t think I’m a hypocrite if I ever say in the future I don’t like how someone treated someone or how people are treating each other etc.
I’m not saying I don’t enjoy the excitement at times, but some of the fights I’ve seen on here are just ridiculous. Just flaring up out of nowhere, out of something relatively harmless. I figure I could start a thread about toast, and check three days later to find a blazing row about butter Vs. margarine or something.
Now that I think about it that would be pretty funny, lol.
